Description:

If you are selected as the Project Lead, you will be overseeing Equipment and controls for capital project installations as well as maintenance projects. They will also serve as the point of contact for engineering, contractors, fabricators, and vendors for instrumentation and controls. Supervise contract employees. Trouble shoot and repair electrical equipment. Must be a Safety Leader and drive company's core values.

Your responsibilities may include:

â Supports the local safety program and leads or participates in After Action Reviews and Learning

Teams

â Involved in maintaining and applying company's specifications and design criteria

â Involved in applying industry recognized standards

â Ensures consistency of design with I&E Project Quality Standards

â Participates in P&ID and other instrument and control drawing reviews

â Assists in factory acceptance testing and field inspections

â Coordinate instrumentation and controls installation

â Ensures projects are built per the engineering work pack

â Helps prepare and implement quality assurance/quality control programs and plans

â Responsible for Function Check Out, Commissioning and PSSR's prior to startup of new facilities

â Supports the Project's Capital Program / Cost Controls by tracking and reporting daily costs

â Participates on start-up team

â Participates in process hazard analysis and safeguard evaluations

â Participates in the project risk management process

â Participates in the Best Card/ Focus Audit programs

Basic/Required:

â Current/Valid driver's license

â 5+ years of electrical experience with instrumentation and controls within the oil and gas industry

â Intermediate level of technical knowledge and training to maintain instrument and electrical

equipment

â Willing and able to perform/align with the following (with or without reasonable accommodation):

o Climb various ladders and stairs ranging in heights up to 50 feet to perform maintenance on equipment

o Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds

o Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material daily on even and uneven terrain

o Work outside in harsh weather conditions

o Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

â Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly

basis

Preferred:

â Associate's degree or trade certificate or higher in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Technology or foreign equivalent

â 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas or electrical industry background

â 10+ years of experience in electrical Controls

â Excellent communication and teamwork skills

â Good written, oral, and computer skills

â Orientated toward continuous process improvement

AM needs a candidate with powerline or facilities electrical experience.
