Maintenance Electronic Tech Full time Compensation Grade MTN660 - Hourly Primary Location Bloomington, IN Scheduled Weekly Hours 44 Recruiting Start Date 02/20/2024 Target Hire Date 03/21/2024 Job Description: Communicate with Operators and/or Leads to identify and understand symptoms of machine problem Diagnose root cause of problems with production equipment to determine best solution: electrical or mechanical Conduct Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, Preventive Maintenance Communicate actions taken to repair the machine to Operator and/or Lead Maintain fire and security systems Demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping standards. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including motor relays, circuit breakers, machine & process controls, and electrical distribution systems Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery logic systems, PC based systems, and all types of drives and motors Participate on Focused Improvement Teams for Continuous Improvement Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. required Must be able to work 12 hour night shift You must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check Proficient in electrical/electronic systems repairs & troubleshooting Ability to work and troubleshoot PLCs, ladder logic, and PC based systems Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings/schematics Additional Job Description Additional Job Description Additional Qualifications: Preferred 5 years of experience as an Electronics Tech or similar experience requiring ET competencies or a combination of experience and training Electronics Tech Certification and/or advanced training a plus Demonstrated project management and successful project implementation Demonstrated ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors Able to write and communicate effectively with ability to train others Multi-crafted and competent in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs Proficient in troubleshooting basic electrical circuits Proficient at troubleshooting Servo Motors & related controls, AC/DC drives, stepper motors Clear understanding in process control systems such as: temperature control, pressure control, flow control and PID control loops
